At first, because NYU was so close to my home in New Jersey, I wasn't sure if I wanted to go to a school 15 miles from my house. But now, after getting to know the Liberal Studies faculty and staff, becoming immersed in the New York City culture and settling into my new home, I have learned a lot about myself, my interests, aspirations and career goals. Several organizations on campus have contributed to helping me find my place at NYU. I work as an Admissions Ambassador giving campus tours to prospective students. I am also a member of both the National Residence Hall Honorary Society and serve on my dorm's hall council. I have an on-campus job as the Promotions Manager of Washington Square News, the daily student newspaper. I am incredibly grateful to be given so many amazing opportunities both inside and outside the classroom. Now I cannot picture myself attending college anywhere else in the world.
